Hello, friends!


In the hustle of everything tomorrow, we decided to turn our "resource table" into an online accessible guide to family-focused community resources for Central Illinois! This way you can easily access it no matter where you are. This guide spotlights Logan, Christian, DeWitt, and Piatt Counties. These cover early childhood, youth programs, support services, health/well-being, and more:

🌱 Logan County (Lincoln & surrounds)


  • Lincoln Parents’ Center (birth–3 yrs): Bi-monthly home visits for developmental support, playgroups, family nights—free. 121 N. Kickapoo St, Lincoln. (Parkland College, logancountyresources.org)

🛠 DeWitt County (Clinton area)


  • DeWitt‑Piatt Bi‑County Health Department: Family resources, immunizations, public health services. (Governors State University)

  • Child & Family Connections #19: Early intervention services birth–5 for developmental delays. Based in Decatur. (Illinois Life Span Program)

  1. Kids 0–5: Start with early childhood options—Head Start, parents centers, WIC.

  2. Youth: Explore YMCA, 4‑H, counseling/support for emotional well‑being.

  3. Crisis support: Use local DHS, CFC #19, Youth Service Bureau, DCFS when needed.

  4. Basic needs: Rely on CAPCIL, Willow Tree, Piattran, and legal/support networks.
