Families, farmers, and community leaders from Springfield, Bloomington, Decatur, and Peoria are invited to Lincoln Illinois for a special town hall on SUNDAY, July 13 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Logan County Fairgrounds, where rural voices will take center stage in a conversation about farm policy and their real-life impact on central Illinois communities.
Hosted by Sunshine Strategies and The Back Forty, the event features Executive Director of The Back Forty, Will Westmoreland, a respected farmer and rural advocate from southwest Missouri. Westmoreland will lead a discussion with residents from four counties on policy challenges facing family farms, the political landscape throughout rural America, and what it will take to build stronger, more resilient rural communities.
